The National CafeThe National Dining Rooms

Metropolitan, modern, modish, the National Café, designed by internationally renowned architect David Collins, takes its inspiration from the gallery itself and exudes timeless elegance. Serving consistently good food at reasonable prices, The National Cafe is open from breakfast right through to afternoon tea and supper. With its location in the heart of theatreland, it's also ideal for pre-theatre dining and post-show drinks.

For those on the move, our self-service dining hall offers a 'grab and go' option with a difference: chilled counters are filled to the brim with homemade gourmet sandwiches and baguettes, savoury tarts and salads while hot food includes hearty soups and freshly baked pies.
